đź’›I'm back in the USA after 14 months away

30% OFF Boston Retreat Tickets NOW. (Dec. 7, 2024)

returning to the USA after over a year away (yikes!)

Reader,

I did it!

After 30+ hours of travel and three flights, I’m finally back in the U.S.

It’s been a shift — coming from Bali, where the energy felt lighter and slower, to stepping off the plane here, where the air feels... heavy.

Especially a week after the election.

I can so easily feel the exhaustion everywhere — the overwhelm, the hopelessness, the burnout. It’s hard to miss.

Even my algorithm picked up on it. Within days, my feed was flooded with new content...

Ads for shapewear & diet pills,

Dystopian romanticization of mental illness & corrupt systems,

Obsession with celebrity gossip & keeping up with fast-changing trends...

I didn't have content like this shown to me when I was out of the country, and I've been shocked by how in-your-face it is now. How normal it is in the U.S. to see these messages constantly.

I think the craziest part is that I know these videos on my feed aren’t random — they’re distractions.

Distractions from reminding us of our power, our agency, and our worth.

Distractions that keep us too busy second-guessing ourselves to fight for the life we deserve.

And they all come back to two clear messages:
👉🏽 "You’re not enough (but here’s how to fix it)"
👉🏽 "Everyone’s burnt out and that’s just how life is!"

Because it's VERY hard to fight, advocate, and feel good on an empty stomach & overwhelmed brain.

So I’m taking it slow — fixing my sleep schedule, eating mac n’ cheese and Doritos because nostalgia feels good right now, and giving myself grace as I readjust.

But even through all the heaviness, I feel this fire.

Self-love, real self-love, is a rebellion against all of it. It’s not just bubble baths and affirmations (although those are great); it’s standing up and saying: I deserve better, and I’m claiming it.

In a little less than 3 weeks, I'll be hosting my Self Love Day in Boston (December 7th), to give womxn a space to reconnect with their power and remind themselves that self-love isn’t selfish, it’s essential.

I am SO grateful to have this day to look forward to, to have a reset on the horizon after 2024 feeling like many consecutive dumpster fires.

Retreat Day won't just be about feeling good. It’s about creating a ripple effect — because when womxn stand in their power, we change the game. And THAT feels so important to me right now.

If you're with me on this, I’d love for you to join us on Retreat Day in Boston.

As a little love note to you (and a HUGE middle finger to diet culture, patriarchy, and capitalism), tickets are 30% off for Black Friday through December 2nd✨

That means $349 instead of $500 for a full day of transformation workshops, fun group activities, and delicious food.

I am so grateful to be sharing this day with you, and growing our ripple affect of power & self love for a world that needs it so much.

And whether or not the retreat is for you, here’s what I need you to hear today:

đź’› You are not the problem.
💛 You are doing enough.
đź’› And taking care of yourself is the most radical thing you can do in a world trying to distract you from your worth.

Sending you all the love,
