For so long, I believed that if I just looked a certain way, I’d finally feel good about myself.
I spent years chasing perfection—perfect body, perfect career, perfect habits—thinking it was the key to feeling worthy and happy.
Guess what?
I hit those goals. And I still hated what I saw in the mirror.
I had the "success story body," and it didn’t solve my insecurities.
It felt like the ultimate betrayal.

What Actually Works
Instead of pushing harder, I started working with my body and mind instead of against them.
The first thing I had to change? My self-talk.
Negative self-talk is like that toxic childhood friend who’s been around forever, draining you—but you keep them around because they’re familiar.
Learning to challenge those thoughts changed everything for me—and it can for you, too.
I didn’t stop there.
I stopped hustling for worthiness and learned how to set boundaries without feeling selfish.
Small shifts helped me reclaim energy I didn’t even know I was losing.
Progress Over Perfection
This isn’t about waking up tomorrow and magically loving yourself.
It’s about small, sustainable changes that build self-trust and help you stop feeling stuck.
⚡️ Maybe you can shift the intention behind movement: “I move to feel good,” not “I have to move to earn my rest.”
⚡️Or reframe food choices: “This meal nourishes me” instead of “I’m bad for eating this.”
You don’t need a perfect body or perfect habits to feel at peace.
You need to believe you deserve good things—and live like it.
