đź’›27 truths that made me happy & confident before 27

Ready to stop negative self talk and accept your body? My September Group Coaching Enrollment is open NOW (limited seats avail.)

27 Things I’ve Learned by 27.

(Buckle up!)

Hey love,

Today’s my birthday!🎉 And I wanted to share something simple but personal:

27 lessons I’ve learned that have changed my life.

As you read through them, notice what resonates.
Notice what makes you feel seen.
otice what makes you feel defensive.

Both are important.
Both are information.

Our journeys may look different, but if any of these truths land with you (or rattle you a little) we probably have more in common than you think.

Here they are:

  1. Feeling bad for yourself is ESSENTIAL to healing, but staying there will keep you stuck

  2. Reconnecting to your body is a daily practice, not a switch you flip

  3. Having a normal relationship with food is fully possible

  4. Gaining weight is often a sign of healing, not failure

  5. Anxiety is not a permanent condition

  6. Healthy is not a size or a number, it’s a relationship

  7. Hitting the goal weight won’t make you confident

  8. Past generations taught us an outdated version of healthy

  9. Your mother’s voice might be the one in your head telling you you’re not enough

  10. Therapy is amazing, but eventually you may outgrow it

  11. You don’t need other people to understand your healing for it to be real

  12. “I don’t have the money” is often code for “I’m scared to choose myself”

  13. Nobody’s coming to save you (especially not a man or a parent who's magically changed overnight)

  14. It’s not always your fault, but it is your responsibility

  15. Staying in victim mode will keep you stuck, even when you’re right

  16. YOU set the tone for how people treat you

  17. Who you’re friends with + how they treat you / others, directly reflects your self-worth and your future

  18. Perfectionism doesn’t need to be killed or fixed, it needs to be redirected

  19. Asking for help is a skill of the successful, not a weakness

  20. Putting yourself first is one of the most generous things you can do for others

  21. Make commitments based on your energy, not your calendar

  22. The biggest changes come from the smallest daily actions

  23. Stop trying to do it all and focus on what actually moves the needle

  24. Working smarter has created more success than pushing harder ever did

  25. Setting daily priorities has given me peace and results

  26. You don’t need to be growing or healing all the time

  27. Control is an illusion, and trusting the process is the real flex

Which of these resonates most right now? (4 & 21 for me)
Which are you still practicing? (8 & 23)

Before you go:
