the honest truth on why most people aren't consistent (but I am).
Let’s clear this up right now:
If you think being consistent means grinding every day, never skipping a workout, and sticking to your routine with robotic precision…
That’s not consistency.
That’s perfectionism in disguise.
No wonder you’re exhausted.
Here’s the truth:
You’re not inconsistent because you’re lazy or undisciplined.
You’re inconsistent because you’re asking the wrong questions.
So let’s fix that.
Here are 3 questions to ask yourself if you’re ready to stop self-sabotaging and start working smarter, not harder:
1️⃣ If I had no obligations, what would my perfect day actually look like?
I can feel you cringing even CONSIDERING this - which means you need it BAD.
So ask yourself.
And not just what you think you should do.
What would feel good?
This question gets you out of "should" mode and into your actual preferences—which is where real consistency starts.
Because if your routine is built around someone else’s rules or some influencer’s “5 AM non-negotiables,” it’s never going to stick.
2️⃣ What are the five most essential actions I can do consistently to get the biggest results?
This is where we zoom out.
What are the high-impact things in your health, mindset, or life that actually move the needle, make you feel better ASAP, show a result?
Write them down. Post them on your wall. Ignore the rest.
Consistency doesn’t mean doing everything.
It means doing the right things—regularly.
You’ve been trained to believe success = maximum effort.
But what if it’s actually about alignment + clarity?
That’s why I teach my clients a system where:
- Less = more
- Simplicity = power
- Sustainability = success
3️⃣ If I actually got what I wanted… how would my life reflect it?
Let’s say you finally got consistent with the gym.
Or you had an extra $10K in your savings.
What would your day look like then?
Would you feel lighter, more free, more joyful?
This question gives you a clear WHY—not one based in fear or pressure, but in possibility.
Because if your daily actions aren’t clearly connected to the life you want, your brain won’t buy in.
And when your brain isn’t in it? Neither is your consistency.
Here’s the bottom line:
The version of consistency you’ve been chasing is actually a perfectionist loop.
You don’t need to do more.
You need to do with intention.
You need to save your energy.
Rest without guilt.
Unlearn the belief that it will all fall apart if you slow down.
Because the truth?
It might actually be easier than you think.
And that’s the part diet culture and hustle culture never taught you.
I’m here to change that💥
